The Oregon Schools Foundation (OSF) is a non-profit foundation that supports the students of the Oregon City School district. Founded more than 20 years ago by a partnership of parents, community members, and local businesses, OSF is a catalyst that brings local businesses and our community together to provide the best in educational opportunities for our children. Through donations like yours, the Oregon Schools Foundation provides grants, as well as community resources to support programs to enhance the educational experiences in our schools.
Who Runs OSF?
OSF is administered by a volunteer board comprised of parents from OCS district and the Superintendent. The Board of Trustees typically has between 10-15 voting members, with volunteers serving as board members and contributing to our fundraising and information efforts. The President of the Board of Education as well as Teacher and Staff union representatives also attend meetings in an advisory capacity. Board meetings are open to the public and parents and other interested persons are encouraged to attend. Meetings are typically held the second Wednesday of Sep, Nov, Jan, March and May.
